Lavender is not just for sachets! English lavender makes a wonderful flavor addition to baked goods such as shortbread, scones and other delectable baked desserts. Students in this class will learn the importance of choosing the correct variety of lavender to bake with, the importance of infusing several ingredients in the recipe, the role heat plays when working with lavender and how to achieve the most nuanced lavender flavor in the final product. Lavender tea will be served while we enjoy tasting the creations we bake!
