Once a year we open the main level of our 200 year old stone farmhouse, all decorated for a Lavender Christmas for you and your friends to enjoy! Sample our lavender tea & honey while you holiday shop our entire line of products, including several new lavender items…

This well-established pre-holiday shopping event features over 75 artisans that make handmade unique products such as pottery, fiber, jewelry, culinary items, wood, photography, plus much more. There will also be live music, food concessions, and not-for-profit information tables.

We will be at Faddegon’s Nursery in Latham NY for their 3rd Annual Holiday Market. This is a terrific opportunity to shop for the holidays. We’ll be there with our lavender-infused food items, soaps, oils and so much more!!!

Lavender is not just for sachets! English lavender makes a wonderful flavor addition to baked goods such as shortbread, scones and other delectable baked desserts. Students in this class will learn the importance of choosing the correct variety of lavender to bake with, the importance of infusing several ingredients in the recipe, the role heat plays when working with lavender and how to achieve the most nuanced lavender flavor in the final product. Lavender tea will be served while we enjoy tasting the creations we bake!

Course Cost: $49 (includes $5 materials fee)

Gore Mountain Harvest Fest

We will be at Gore Mountain’s Harvest Fest October 6-7, 10am - 4pm. Harvest Fest 2018 features 80+ artisans displaying their own handcrafted items such as furniture made of locally reclaimed wood, upcycled book origami, original paintings and photography, all-natural bath & beauty essentials, primitives & Adirondack decor, hand-painted fabrics, knit scarves & accessories, unique handmade jewelry and pottery, specialty food items, NY made wines and spirits, and so much more! 

There will be live music and entertainment. Harvest Fest is free and family-friendly.

Brandon Russ is a Certified Intuitive Medium and delivers laughs, messages and practical living with spirit and humor! Come for an entertaining evening, be a part of Gallery readings and stories about growing up as a Medium. Although not everyone is guaranteed a reading, you will enjoy being in a group limited to 35 attendees and being part of this uplifting experience that heals the soul.

Adirondack Lavender 101

Join us for a tour of our lavender farm to learn about planting conditions and planting requirements for lavender. We’ll cover the life cycle of lavender from propagation and care of starts to pruning, harvest and maintenance of mature plants. Challenges of growing lavender in the North Country will be discussed in detail, as will what varieties are grown for what products, including culinary uses such as baking and savory preparations. We will introduce what lavender can do for you, for a customer and for the farmer. Come learn about the Swiss Army knife of herbs.

Dress appropriately for the weather. The tour will be held rain or shine in the field.
